Vicky Sunohara a fait ses d\u00e9buts olympiques \u00e0 Nagano 1998<\/a>, la m\u00eame ann\u00e9e que le hockey sur glace f\u00e9minin faisait son entr\u00e9e au programme des Jeux. \u00c9quipe Canada et Sunohara y ont remport\u00e9 l\u2019argent. Sunohara est retourn\u00e9e aux Jeux \u00e0 Salt Lake City en 2002<\/a> et \u00e0 Turin en 2006<\/a>, aidant le Canada \u00e0 remporter l\u2019or chaque fois. En trois Jeux olympiques, Sunohara a disput\u00e9 16 matchs et amass\u00e9 13 points.<\/p>\n

Membre du programme national f\u00e9minin de 1989 \u00e0 sa retraite en 2008, Sunohara a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 huit Championnats du monde de l\u2019IIHF, gagnant l\u2019or sept fois avec le Canada (1990, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2004 et 2007) et l\u2019argent une fois (2005). En carri\u00e8re aux Mondiaux, Sunohara a disput\u00e9 40 rencontres et amass\u00e9 un total de 41 points.<\/p>\n

Sunohara a jou\u00e9 son hockey universitaire \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Northeastern de 1988 \u00e0 1990 et \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Toronto de 1990 \u00e0 1992. Sunohara est ensuite all\u00e9e jouer dans la NWHL\/CWHL avec le Thunder de Brampton de 2005 \u00e0 2008, remportant le championnat de la ligue en 2007 et en 2008. Une fois \u00e0 la retraite, elle est devenue entra\u00eeneure-chef de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Toronto, en 2011.<\/p>\n

Sunohara a \u00e9t\u00e9 intronis\u00e9e au Temple de la renomm\u00e9e olympique canadien en 2012, avec ses co\u00e9quipi\u00e8res de l\u2019\u00e9quipe olympique de hockey de Turin 2006.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
