Les erreurs de Nestor et Stepanek ont permis aux septi\u00e8mes t\u00eates de s\u00e9ries de prendre une pr\u00e9cieuse avance jusqu\u2019\u00e0 5-4. Les finalistes ont r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 faire durer le match un peu plus longtemps avec un bris, mais Murray et Soares ont mis un terme au duel par la marque de 7-5.<\/p>\n<p>Malgr\u00e9 la d\u00e9faite, Daniel Nestor et Radek Stepanek ont r\u00e9alis\u00e9 plus de coups gagnants que leurs adversaires (36 contre 32) et remport\u00e9 102 des 199 points jou\u00e9s. \u00c7a prouve \u00e0 quel point les deux \u00e9quipes ont disput\u00e9 un match de qualit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/olympique.ca\/2016\/01\/11\/daniel-nestor-frappe-dans-le-1000\/\">\u00c0 lire\u00a0: Nestor frappe dans le 1000!<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Champion en tennis des <a href=\"http:\/\/olympique.ca\/2013\/09\/27\/lunique-medaille-en-tennis-du-canada\/\">Jeux olympiques de 2000<\/a>, Nestor est le seul joueur de double \u00e0 compter plus de 1000 victoires \u00e0 son actif sur le circuit de l\u2019ATP.
