La journ\u00e9e qui a pr\u00e9c\u00e9d\u00e9 leur m\u00e9daille de bronze \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve de plongeon synchronis\u00e9 \u00e0 la plate-forme de 10\u00a0m, Meaghan Benfeito<\/a> et Roseline Filion<\/a>, qui sont meilleures amies, \u00e9taient \u00e0 la Maison olympique du Canada pour applaudir leurs co\u00e9quipi\u00e8res et m\u00e9daill\u00e9es de bronze Jennifer Abel et \u00c9milie Heymans.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0C\u2019est vraiment fantastique que la premi\u00e8re m\u00e9daille ait \u00e9t\u00e9 gagn\u00e9e \u00e0 une \u00e9preuve de plongeon\u00a0\u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Meaghan Benfeito au jour\u00a03. \u00ab\u00a0Jennifer et \u00c9milie sont nos meilleures amies, nous sommes tellement fi\u00e8res d\u2019elles… c\u2019est vraiment tr\u00e8s sp\u00e9cial d\u2019\u00eatre ici, \u00e0 la Maison olympique du Canada, et de pouvoir c\u00e9l\u00e9brer avec elles.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Trois jours plus tard, au jour\u00a06, Meaghan Benfeito et Roseline Filion \u00e9taient \u00e0 leur tour en vedette lorsque le Comit\u00e9 olympique canadien leur a rendu hommage pour avoir entam\u00e9 la s\u00e9rie de m\u00e9dailles de bronze du Canada au jour\u00a04.<\/p>\n

Les parents de Meaghan Benfeito, Arthur Benfeito et Margarida Correia, ainsi que les parents de Roseline Filion, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne et Marc Filion, \u00e9taient assis ensemble pendant la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie au cours de laquelle ils ont lutt\u00e9 contre les larmes \u00e0 quelques reprises, rayonnants de fiert\u00e9.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Roseline et Meaghan sont toujours ensemble. Elles s\u2019entra\u00eenent ensemble six jours semaine et le septi\u00e8me, elles se voient ou se parlent. On dirait des s\u0153urs\u00a0\u00bb, a expliqu\u00e9 Marc Filion.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0C\u2019est une occasion unique d\u2019\u00eatre aux Jeux olympiques et de voir sa fille remporter une m\u00e9daille. Nous sommes tellement heureux d\u2019\u00eatre ici pour c\u00e9l\u00e9brer avec elle. Je suis tr\u00e8s fier\u00a0\u00bb, a dit Arthur Benfeito.<\/p>\n

Aaron Dziver, entra\u00eeneur de plongeon, a expliqu\u00e9 comment Meaghan et Roseline l\u2019ont inspir\u00e9. \u00ab\u00a0J\u2019ai eu tout un privil\u00e8ge de travailler avec elles \u2014 leur sens de l\u2019humour et leur \u00e9thique de travail font qu\u2019il est tr\u00e8s plaisant d\u2019\u00eatre en leur compagnie.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
