L\u2019athl\u00e8te de 20 ans originaire de Deux-Montagnes (Qu\u00e9bec) est toujours en t\u00eate du classement de la FIS dans la discipline des bosses masculines apr\u00e8s sa victoire.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Je suis super heureux, c\u2019est merveilleux \u00bb, a-t-il dit. \u00ab \u00c7a montre que je travaille dans la bonne direction. Il reste encore \u00e9videmment beaucoup de choses \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer, mais aujourd\u2019hui, je m\u2019en suis bien sorti mentalement. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>La victoire \u00e9tait d\u2019autant plus pr\u00e9cieuse pour Mikael Kingsbury puisque cette \u00e9preuve \u00e9tait une des cinq comp\u00e9titions cibl\u00e9es \u00e0 la suite de laquelle un podium pouvait aider les athl\u00e8tes \u00e0 devenir admissibles comme membres pr\u00e9s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s pour l\u2019\u00e9quipe olympique en direction pour Sochi 2014.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Il s\u2019agit de ma premi\u00e8re \u00e9preuve de qualification olympique et j\u2019ai d\u00e9but\u00e9 par une victoire \u00bb, a affirm\u00e9 Mikael Kingsbury.<\/p>\n<p><strong>L\u2019argent en bobsleigh en Autriche<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La m\u00e9daill\u00e9e d\u2019or olympique de 2010 <a href=\"http:\/\/preprod.olympic.ca\/fr\/team-canada\/kaillie-humphries-2\" target=\"_blank\">Kaillie Humphries<\/a> et la freineuse Chelsea Valois ont remport\u00e9 l\u2019argent \u00e0 Igls, en Autriche. Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une huiti\u00e8me m\u00e9daille cons\u00e9cutive pour le duo en bobsleigh. Kaillie Humphries a fait passer sa fiche record du monde \u00e0 11 m\u00e9dailles cons\u00e9cutives et compte neuf victoires \u00e0 l\u2019occasion de ses 11 derniers d\u00e9parts. L\u2019\u00e9quipe a obtenu un temps de 1:48.66 pour ses deux descentes, seulement 0,01 seconde derri\u00e8re la m\u00e9daille d\u2019or.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab C\u2019est frustrant de perdre de si peu, mais j\u2019ai fait une erreur et c\u2019est ce qui m\u2019a co\u00fbt\u00e9 \u00bb, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Kaillie Humphries, pour qui le titre de championne au classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Coupe du monde \u00e9tait presque d\u00e9j\u00e0 officiellement gagn\u00e9. \u00ab D\u2019un c\u00f4t\u00e9 plus positif, je n\u2019avais jamais bien r\u00e9ussi ici.
