L\u2019athl\u00e8te originaire de Calgary est mont\u00e9e sur le podium pour la treizi\u00e8me fois de suite lors de l\u2019\u00e9preuve test en vue des Jeux olympiques qui avait lieu \u00e0 Sotchi en Russie. Elle a remport\u00e9 la m\u00e9daille de bronze avec sa co\u00e9quipi\u00e8re, la freineuse Chelsea Valois (Zenon Park, Sask.) qui l\u2019a accompagn\u00e9e sur le podium \u00e0 10 reprises au cours de sa premi\u00e8re saison.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab Ce n\u2019\u00e9taient pas nos meilleures descentes, a confi\u00e9 Humphries. J\u2019ai fait quelques erreurs, mais je suis encore dans une p\u00e9riode d\u2019apprentissage. Nous reviendrons ici l\u2019an prochain pour une semaine d\u2019entra\u00eenement et nous travaillerons fort pour nous am\u00e9liorer. \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2g\u00e9e de 25 ans, Humphries encha\u00eene les m\u00e9dailles comme aucune bobeuse avant elle et a r\u00e9colt\u00e9 deux titres de championne du monde et neuf victoires en Coupe du monde depuis la saison derni\u00e8re. Elle a \u00e9tabli un nouveau record en remportant huit titres cons\u00e9cutifs sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale cette ann\u00e9e.
