Venue Guide: Mississauga Sports Centre hosts judo and more

Venue Guide is a series looking at the competition grounds for Toronto 2015 Pan American Games.

The Mississauga Sports Centre will be busy. It’s the only venue to have competition each day of TO2015; hosting judo, karate, taekwondo, and wrestling.

The Mississauga Sports Centre is basically a rink complex that will be ice-less for the Pan American Games. Each of the Pan Am sports will go ahead in the main arena with 5,500 seats. During hockey season, the rink is home to the Mississauga Steelheads of the Ontario Hockey League. The Mississauga Power also play there, a team in the National Basketball League of Canada.
