As the nation turns its gaze to Team Canada’s performance at the 2022 Olympic Winter Games, the Canadian Olympic School Program is pleased to provide you with engaging educational resources to get you and your students into the Olympic Spirit!
The 2022 Olympic Winter Games curriculum features collections of resources to offer learning activities for students of all ages in a variety of subjects including:
*NEW* Be Olympic 2022 : Join ambassadors, Mikäel Kingsbury and Cynthia Appiah, as they guide students through three weeks of classroom programming focusing on the values of perseverance, teamwork and respect. Filled with weekly videos, daily athlete stories, learning activities and inspirational messaging, every student will have the opportunity to connect with Team Canada in a meaningful way.
*NEW* My Olympic Journal: In the format of a daily tracker, students will be able to complete daily social emotional learning activities based on the competition schedule, learn about featured Canadian Olympians and follow along with a medal count and much, much more!
Canadian Olympic Activity Challenge Cards: Encourage and motivate students to be active for 60 minutes a day. They will be introduced to 12 sports featured in the Olympic Winter Games, while developing an understanding of the Olympic values of friendship, excellence and respect through physical education.
