Gary Reed

Lesson description

Heading into the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Gary Reed was Canada’s medal favourite on the track for the men’s 800 metre. Sometimes we fall short of our goals, and Gary’s goal of an Olympic medal was missed by an agonizing 12/100ths of a second. While disappointed at being that close to a medal, he took comfort in the fact that he had done everything he could along the way to reach his goal.
