Accreditation
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) allocates a limited number of accreditation positions to the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) for distribution to Canadian media. the COC determines the distribution based on organization’s national scope in coverage, readership/circulation, previous history in attending and covering Games, geographical representation and linguistic equity.
The accreditation process for non-rights holding broadcasters is managed directly by the IOC. Further details on this process can be found at olympics.com. Any questions relating to this process can be directed to media.operations@olympic.org.
