Media Advisory: Olympians To Celebrate Olympic Day In Ottawa

OTTAWA – As part of International Olympic Day celebrated worldwide on June 23rd, Canadian Olympians will participate in an Olympic Fair at the annual Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Teddy Bears’ Picnic on June 21, 2014, on the grounds of Rideau Hall. The Olympic Fair will feature appearances by His Excellency the Right Honourable David Johnston, Governor General of Canada, His Worship Jim Watson, Mayor of Ottawa and 17 Olympians, as well as 8 sport demonstrations from local sports clubs
