Biography

Forward Andrew Ebbett made his Olympic debut at PyeongChang 2018 where he helped Canada win the bronze medal. In the leadup to PyeongChang 2018, Ebbett played for Team Canada at the Spengler Cup, Karjala Cup, and Sochi Hockey Open in 2017. At the Spengler Cup, he was named to the All-Star Team after scoring six goals and assisting on six others. He also suited up for Team Canada at the 2016 Spengler Cup. Ebbett has played 224 NHL games for the Anaheim Ducks (2007-10), Chicago Blackhawks (2009-10), Minnesota Wild (2009-10), Arizona Coyotes (2010-11), Vancouver Canucks (2011-13), and Pittsburgh Penguins (2013-15). He’s been playing for Bern SC of the Swiss League since 2015-16, winning league titles in 2016 and 2017. Ebbett played for the University of Michigan Wolverines from 2002 to 2006, serving as captain in his senior season. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Anaheim Ducks in 2007.
