Audrey Jean-Baptiste


While watching the Olympic Games on TV when she was younger, Audrey Jean-Baptiste told her mom that was what she wanted to do when she grew up. Since she started running track, representing Canada has been her ultimate dream and goal. In 2014 she was part of the 4x400m relay team that made the final at the Commonwealth Games. She then anchored the 4x400m relay team that finished sixth at the 2015 IAAF World Relays, qualifying Canada for the event at Rio 2016.


Family: Sister Amely… Getting into the Sport: Began running track at age 15… Has always enjoyed sports and played basketball throughout high school… Outside Interests: Enjoy cooking and baking and coming up with new recipes… Graduated from the University of Tulsa with a degree in Finance in 2014… Odds and Ends: Favourite motto: Nothing happens that was not dreamed… Gets inspired by watching other athletes realize their dreams, often finds herself crying while watching the NBA or NHL drafts…
