Brandon Letts
Biography
- Was a finalist in the 100m at the 2023 Canadian Championships
- Competes collegiately for Northwestern State University
- Because of multiple injuries, he missed two full years of competition as he was finishing high school, which meant no university scholarship offers; instead of attending college he spent 2016 focused on giving everything he had to training and set his 100m PB, giving him the boost he needed to keep going
A Little More About Brandon
Getting into the Sport: Started participating in track and field in grade four; started training and competing with dedication in grade 10… Outside Interests: Enjoys playing video games, videography, basketball, fashion… Would like to pursue a career as a physiotherapist… Studying Health and Exercise Science at Northwestern State University… Odds and Ends: Inspired by athletes who have overcome adversity, such as American sprinter Trayvon Bromell… Favourite motto: “The more you sweat in peace, the less you will bleed in war.”
