• First-time Olympian in 2008, finished 33rd in Beijing
• In 2008 at Wimbledon, he defeated world No. 7 David Nalbandian in straight sets
• In 2007 he reached the final of the ATP Indianapolis Championships by defeating No. 5 Andy Roddick in the semifinal in straight sets
• Ranked a career-high 65th in the world on Sept. 1, 2007
