Jasmin Duehring (née Glaesser) is a two-time Olympic bronze medallist in the team pursuit. The first came when she competed in the inaugural women’s Olympic team pursuit at London 2012 with Tara Whitten and Gillian Carleton. She was the lone member of that squad to compete in the team pursuit at Rio 2016, winning another bronze medal alongside Allison Beveridge, Kirsti Lay, Georgia Simmerling and Laura Brown, setting a national record in the process.

Duehring first international competition for Canada was the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara where she won gold in the team pursuit with Laura Brown and Steph Roorda, just a month after receiving her Canadian citizenship. Prior to being eligible to represent Canada, Duehring travelled to the 2010 UCI World Championships so she could get a feel for the atmosphere at a major event. That experience proved to be a huge help. Duehring has since stood on the team pursuit podium at the 2012, 2013, 2014,  2015 and 2016 UCI World Championships. She has also captured four world championship medals (two silver, two bronze) in the non-Olympic points race, most recently in 2018 when she won Canada’s only medal at those worlds.

With four medals, Duehring was one of Canada’s most decorated athletes at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto. She won team pursuit gold and omnium silver at the velodrome before getting on her road bike to win gold in the road race along with silver in the time trial. Duehring’s road racing experience includes the 2013 Giro d’Italia and the 2014 Commonwealth Games. She finished ninth in the time trial at the 2015 Tour of California.
