Kyle Lotzkar

Biography

Kyle-LotzkarKyle Lotzkar had a busy year with Team Canada in 2011, winning a gold medal at the Pan Am Games in Guadalajara where he pitched 4.2 innings as a starter, and a bronze medal at the Baseball World Cup. In 2012 he was inducted to the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame with his Pan Am Games teammates. Lotzkar was selected in the supplemental first round (53rd overall) of the 2007 MLB Draft by the Cincinnati Reds. He was with the organization until the end of 2013 when he joined the Texas Rangers, spending his time with their AA affiliate, the Frisco Roughriders.
