Biography
CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
- Represented Canada at its first Games, rowing in the Montreal 1976 Olympic Games
 - She and her teammates in the women's four with cox finished 7th
 
PERSONAL
- Schaumleffel's career came to a sudden halt following a car accident in 1989 which left her with physical and brain injuries
 - Using her curiosity, discipline and perseverance, she focused on healing herself and in the process created the Power Brain Fitness program
 - Now considered a pioneer in the field of brain fitness
 - She sings in The Victoria Soul Gospel Choir
