Metodi Igorov

Biography

Metodi Igorov began shooting competitively in his native Bulgaria in 1977. The Canadian champion in the 25m rapid fire pistol since 1996, Igorov has already made four appearances at the Pan Am Games, recording his best result at Santo Domingo 2003 when he just missed the podium with his fourth place finish. A two-time gold medallist at the Commonwealth Games in 1998 and 2002, Igorov finished fourth in the 25m rapid fire pistol at Glasgow 2014. He has competed at four editions of the ISSF World Championships, recording a top result of 50th in the 25m rapid fire pistol in 1998. His career-high ISSF World Cup result is 17th, achieved at the Bangkok stop in 2004.
