Rob Fagan

Biography

The oldest member of the Canadian snowboard cross team, Rob Fagan has been competing internationally for more than a decade. After missing out on a chance to compete in the Olympic debut of snowboard cross at Turin 2006, Fagan went to Vancouver 2010 as part of a strong Canadian men’s team. After winning both his heat and quarterfinal, he finished third in his semifinal, putting him into the Small Final. He won that to place him fifth overall.

Fagan has competed at three FIS World Championships, recording his best finish in 2013 when he placed eighth. He ended his 2012-13 season with a pair of strong World Cup performances, finishing fourth in Veysonnaz and Sierra Nevada in March. That was the closest he had come to a World Cup podium since winning silver in December 2009.
