• Won track cycling gold in the women’s team pursuit at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games where she also competed in road cycling
• Competed at the 2022 and 2023 UCI Track World Championships
• Won team pursuit gold at the 2022 Pan American Track Cycling Championships
• Won silver in the junior time trial at the 2016 Canadian Road Cycling Championships

A Little More About Ruby

Getting into the Sport: Became involved in competitive cycling at age 12… In 2021 made the switch from cyclocross to track cycling for the chance to compete at the Olympic Games; has competed at six cyclocross world championships… Outside Interests: Loves gardening and is inspired by her family’s farm where she looks after chickens, goats, and a donkey… Odds and Ends: Father Mike West won two Olympic medals in swimming at Los Angeles 1984 (100m backstroke bronze, 4x100m medley relay silver)…
