Ryan O’Neil

Biography

  • Has represented Canada at six Pan American Championships, highlighted by a bronze in the -67kg kumite event in 2018 when he also helped Canada win team gold 
  • Had his best result in the -75kg kumite event at the Pan American Championships in 2023 
  • Made his debut at the WKF World Championships in 2018, the same year he debuted on the Karate1 Series A tour 
  • As a junior, won U21 -67kg bronze at the 2017 Pan American Junior Championships and competed at that year’s World Junior Championships
  • As a dual sport athlete, won three gold medals at the International Taekwondo Federation World Championships in 2015, 2017, and 2019
