Sarah-KinznerSarah Kinzner was 15 years old when she made her debut in the Canadian youth program in 2012. She won a silver medal with Canada at the 2013 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, scoring a goal and adding an assist in Canada’s semifinal game against Jamaica. She added another goal to her Canadian total at the 2014 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Canada’s quarterfinal loss.


Family: Parents Robert and Phyllis… Older sisters Kelsey and Melissa… Kelsey is a former varsity soccer play and three-time Academic All-Canadian… Getting into the Sport: Started playing soccer at age 4 because of a desire to compete with her older sisters who were already playing… Grew up participating in soccer, volleyball, basketball… Outside Interests: Recent graduate of Bishop Grandin High School… Enjoys hiking, being outdoors, volleyball… Odds and Ends: Favourite quote: “I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life and that is why I succeed” – Michael Jordan… Favourite player is Andres Iniesta because he is very creative and fun to watch… Her dad tells her a joke before every game…
