Skylar Stromsmoe
Biography
Skyler Stromsmoe competed with Team Canada at both the 2011 Pan Am Games and 2011 Baseball World Cup, winning gold and bronze, respectively. In Guadalajara he hit .200 with one homerun and two RBI. He was signed as a non-drafted free agent by the San Francisco Giants in 2007 and has spent the years since then in their minor league system. After spending 2014 in AA, he has played 2015 with their AAA affiliate, the Sacramento River Cats. Through 20 games, he is batting .244 in 45 at-bats.

Family: Parents Nyle and Vicki… Wife Rachel… Getting into the Sport: Started playing baseball at age 5… His dad played a lot of slo-pitch softball when he was younger and he always tried to be the batboy… Hanging out in the dugout made him want to play baseball… Outside Interests: Earned Associate of Arts degree from Longview Community College and a Health, Kinesiology and Recreation degree from Southern Arkansas University… Enjoys golf, ranching, watching movies…
