Cain Canoes to Gold
August 10, 1984: Canoeist Larry Cain wins Canada’s only ever Olympic gold medal in the C-1 500m at the Games of the XXIII Olympiad in Los Angeles. The next day Cain would add a silver medal in the C-1 1000m.
