A three-time winner of the Petro Canada Coaching Excellence Award, Peter Lawless has been involved in High-Performance sport for 25 years in the sports of sailing, athletics, and cycling. Peter currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Olympic Committee.
President of Rowing Canada since 2017, Carol’s involvement in rowing spans twenty-five years of volunteering as a member of a number of local, provincial and national rowing organizations and committees.
Walter is a world-renowned expert in the organization of major sporting events, serving on the board of the Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Vancouver, and as Director-General of Sports for the Organizing Committee for the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal.
Elaine Dagg-Jackson has coached at over 16 World Curling Championships, at five Olympic Games and has been the Canadian National Team coach and team leader for the women’s curling team since 2003. She has been the recipient of numerous awards over her career.
Steve has enjoyed almost four decades working in the sports industry as a journalist, communications executive, and consultant, and as a post-secondary school instructor and mentor. Steve is a member of the Brockville and Area Sports Hall of Fame.
Member of the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame, Basketball Canada Hall of Fame, and appointed to the Order of Canada in the fall of 2018, Sylvia’s career spans 30 years of achievement in both the public and private sectors.
Christine is a three-time Olympian and two-time Olympic medalist in long track speed skating, competing in Turin 2006 where she won silver in the team pursuit, and in Vancouver 2010 where she won gold in the 1000m. Christine is a member of the Canadian Olympic Committee’s Athletes’ Commission.
Hugues is a two-time Olympian competing in the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Games in the Canoe-Kayak - Sprint event and is a 2011 Pan Am gold medalist. Hugues is a member of the Canadian Olympic Committee’s Athletes’ Commission.
