Biography

  • Made her Olympic debut at Barcelona 1992 with her Jump Canada Hall of Fame horse, Monopoly
  • Won two Pan Am Games medals with Monopoly; earned silver in the team and individual jumping events at Havana 1991
  • Also won team bronze at the 1999 Pan Am Games in Winnipeg with her horse Altair
  • Has represented Canada at three editions of the World Equestrian Games
  • Has represented Canada on numerous Nations Cup teams across the world
  • First woman to ever win the Canadian World Cup League
  • Was the Leading Woman Rider in the World in 1995
  • Won the Rolex Grand Prix in La Baule, France in 2022

Getting into the Sport: Started riding at a YMCA camp in Georgetown, Ontario… In 1968, joined the Toronto-North York Pony Club… Chose to pursue equestrianism as her career in 1977 just after winning a silver medal for best Canadian vocalist while enrolled at the Royal Conservatory of Music…
