David Jarvis
Biography
The biggest highlight of David Jarvis’ sailing career thus far has been participating in the 2001-02 Volvo Ocean Race, an around-the-world competition that started in September 2001 and ended in June 2002. Jarvis was part of the crew of the Djuice Dragons, a Norwegian yacht that finished sixth. In 2011 and 2013 Jarvis was part of the crew skippered by Terry McLaughlin that won the New York Yacht Club Invitational Cup. Among his other international races are the 2007 and 2010 Canada’s Cup and multiple world championships, including the J24.
