Dylan Bibic

Biography

Dylan Bibic made Canadian history in his debut at the UCI Track World Championships in 2022. He won gold in the men’s scratch race to become Canada’s first ever world champion in a men’s endurance track cycling event. He followed that up by winning silver in the men’s elimination race at the 2023 UCI Track World Championships. 

Bibic had shown his potential at the 2021 UCI Junior Track Cycling World Championships where he won three medals. He took gold in the points race, silver in the omnium, and teamed with Carson Mattern to win bronze in the Madison.  

Bibic won five gold medals at the 2023 Pan American Championships, which included victories in the three Olympic program endurance events – team pursuit, omnium, Madison (with Mathias Guillemette). That followed the four gold and one silver he won at the 2022 Pan American Championships, where he had also been victorious in the team pursuit, omnium and Madison (with Michael Foley).   

In his second year competing on the UCI Track Champions League, Bibic won the overall men’s endurance title in 2023. He started off the 2024 season by earning his first career victories on the UCI Nations Cup circuit, winning the men’s omnium and men’s elimination race in Adelaide, Australia in early February. He also won the elimination race at his home Nations Cup in Milton, Ontario in mid-April 2024.
