Gordon Cook

Biography

Gordon Cook finished in 16th place in the Sailing 49er class in his second consecutive appearance at an Olympic Games. He competed with partner Hunter Lowden at London 2012.

The duo qualified for the Games during the 49er World Championship in Zadar, Croatia earlier in the year.

Cook and Lowden have been racing together since 2010 and have notable top-10 finishes at international races such as the Miami Olympic Classes Regatta (2010-2012) and the Delata Lloyd Regatta (2011). They also finished in the top 25 at the Worlds in 2010.

Cook competed in the 49er class in Beijing with then partner Ben Romocker and finished in the top 15.
