Jasvir Rakkar
Biography
Jasvir Rakkar was a member of Team Canada that won gold at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto. He’s also represented Canada at the WBSC Premier 12 in 2015 and the COPABE Pan Am Qualifier last January. He was selected in the 26th round of the 2012 MLB Draft by the Chicago Cubs and spent four seasons with the organization bef
ore signing with the Québec Capitales in 2016. He earned a scholarship to Stony Brook University and was part of the Seawolves’ run to the College World Series in 2012 that included a series win over the LSU Tigers, handing them their first home post-season loss in decades. He is currently pitching for the Kitchener Panthers of the Intercounty Baseball League while completing his Education degree.
