Karissa Hovinga
Biography
Karissa started in international baseball in 2009 with the U-16 Youth Team at the Youth World Cup, and then the 2010 Junior Pan Am Championships and 2011 Junior World Championships. Moved up to the Senior Team in 2012 for the World Championships, and after a one year break to focus on school, returned in 2014 for the World Championships in Netherlands, leading the team with a 1.47 ERA. Over 3 seasons at Oregon, she has a combined 33-5 record, 2.27 ERA, and 212 strikeouts over 308 innings. Was named to the NCAA All-Regional Team in her junior season.
