  • Won gold in the women’s eight and bronze in the women’s quad sculls at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games
  • Was part of the women’s quad sculls crew that finished fourth at the 2023 Pan American Games Qualification Regatta
  • Competed collegiately for the University of Alberta
  • Two-time gold medalist (2018, 2022) in the women’s quad sculls at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta
  • Won silver in the women’s pair at the 2021 National Rowing Championships

A Little More About Kendra

Getting into the Sport: Joined the novice rowing program at the University of Alberta when she was 21… Started competing at the national level in 2018… Had been a competitive dancer growing up but gave it up because of various knee injuries and wanted to discover other sports… Has wanted to represent Canada since watching Catriona Le May Doan win speed skating gold at Salt Lake City 2002… Outside Interests: Works as a professional engineer… Earned her Masters of Science in Materials Engineering from the University of Alberta in 2021… Passed her Advanced One RAD Ballet Exam before having to stop due to injury… Odds and Ends: Collects magnets from her travels and competitions…
