Laila Oravsky

Biography

• Won five medals at the 2022 Canada Summer Games, including gold medals for Team Ontario in the women’s 4x100m and 4x200m freestyle relays; won individual bronze medals in the 100m and 200m breaststroke events
• Started swimming competitively in 2018 at age 11 
• Competed in her first World Aquatics World Cup in October 2022 at age 15 
• Named to Team Canada for the 2023 World Junior Championships 
• Won silver in the 1500m freestyle at the 2023 Canadian Swimming Trials
