Biography
- Represented Canada at the 2022 and 2023 World Aquatics Championships
- Was a member of the Canadian team that won team acrobatic silver and team free bronze at the 2023 World Aquatics Artistic Swimming World Cup Super Final
- Won team silver with Team Quebec at the 2019 Canada Games
- Joined the senior national team program in 2020
A Little More About Raphaelle
Getting into the Sport: Was born in Austria; moved to Montreal and then Las Vegas, where she lived for seven years and started artistic swimming at age 7… Moved back to Canada to pursue the sport at a higher level and compete internationally… Outside Interests: Would like to pursue a career as an interior designer… Odds and ends: Inspired by American artistic swimmer Bill May for his determination within a female dominated sport… Dislocated both her shoulders when she was younger and still has pain during certain exercises… Made a small appearance in a Cirque de Soleil production at age 11… Favourite motto: “Prove them wrong!”
