Zachary Plavsic

Biography

As Canada’s top male windsurfer, Zac Plavsic has competed at two Olympic Games, posting the country’s best-ever result in the event with his eighth place finish at London 2012. Plavsic came close to the podium in both of his Pan Am Games appearances, finishing fourth at Rio 2007 and fifth at Guadalajara 2011. In December 2011 he earned his best-ever world championship result, finishing 12^th. Plavsic won his first career World Cup medal in May 2011, capturing silver at the Delta Lloyd Regatta in the Netherlands.
