Biography

  • Won silver in the senior men’s C-1 event at the 2023 Pan American Championships where he finished fourth in the senior men’s K-1 event  
  • Achieved Canada’s best ever performance in men’s canoe at the ICF Junior World Championships when he placed sixth in 2021 
  • Made his senior world championship debut in 2021 
  • Was a finalist in the men’s C-1 event at the 2023 ICF U23 World Championships, placing 10th overall 
  • Made his ICF World Cup debut in his hometown of Pau, France in November 2020 where he advanced to the semifinals in both C-1 and K-1 
  • Older sister Léa is also a member of Canada’s canoe/kayak slalom national team 
  • A dual citizen of Canada and France; chose to represent the home country of his mother Christine who is originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario
