Biography
Allie Surrette began sailing in the Optimist, a popular youth boat, in the RNSYS and then SMSC junior sailing programs. At the age of eight, she became a member of the race team COAST, where she was first teammates with current sailing partner, Max Flinn. In the Optimist, Surrette competed in two North American Championships, a South American Championships and a European Championships. After aging out of the class, Surrette began sailing 420s, where she teamed up with Ali ten Hove.
