- Won 57kg gold at the 2016 Pan American Championships; finished 5th at the Pan Am Championships in 2019, 2022, and 2023
- Competed at his first senior world championships in 2018; finished a career-best 13th in 2019
- Represented Team British Columbia at the 2013 Canada Summer Games, winning silver in the 50kg weight class
