Marie-Pier Boudreau Gagnon

Biography

Marie-Pier Boudreau-Gagnon competed in her second consecutive Olympic Games in 2012 and finished in fourth place in the duet competition with partner Elise Marcotte and in fourth place in the team competition. She announced her retirement after the London Games.

In 2011, Boudreau-Gagnon was a double gold medallist at the Pan American Games in Guadalajara in the team and duet events with partner Elise Marcotte, qualifying spots in both for Canada the 2012 Games. Boudreau-Gagnon and the team would also finish fourth that year in both events at the FINA World Aquatic Championships.

At the 2010 Commonwealth Games, Boudreau-Gagnon captured gold in the duet event. At the FINA World Cup she would go on to capture silver in the duet and a bronze in the team event.

In 2009, Boudreau-Gagnon and the team would finish just off the podium in the duet event and the team events at the FINA World Aquatic Championships.

Boudreau-Gagnon made her Olympic Games debut in 2008 and finished fourth in the team event and sixth in the duet.

In 2007, Boudreau-Gagnon and the team won silver at the Pan American Games by placing second in the duet and team events.

Boudreau-Gagnon also captured gold in the duet at the 2006 Commonwealth Games and would finish sixth in the duet and the team events at the FINA World Cup. At the 2005 World Aquatic Championships, the synchro team would place fifth.

Boudreau-Gagnon joined the senior national team in 2002.
