• Won four international medals in 2018, including gold at the Pan American Open in Santo Domingo
• Recipient of Judo Canada’s Junior Athlete of the Year Award for 2018

Getting into the Sport: Started training in judo with her father Larry, a former national team member, when she was 8… Began competing at age 10… Outside Interests: Studying Social Science at Collège de Maisonneuve… Odds and Ends: Always wears the same sweater to pre-fight warm ups… Has wanted to compete for Team Canada since watching Antoine Valois-Fortier win bronze at London 2012….
