Alexia Zevnik
Biography
• First represented Canada internationally at the 2016 FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) held in Windsor, Ontario where she won three relay medals
• Won two medals at the 2017 Summer Universiade, capturing gold in the 4x100m freestyle relay and an individual silver in the 200m backstroke with a personal best time
• Won silver with the 4x100m freestyle relay at the 2018 Commonwealth Games
• At the 2018 Pan Pacific Championships was a bronze medallist in the 4x100m freestyle relay and part of a fourth-place finish in the 4x100m mixed medley relay
• Swam collegiately at North Carolina State; placed second in the NCAA Championships in the 200m backstroke in her senior season in 2017, breaking conference and school records
• In 2017 earned All-American honours and was named to her fourth straight All-ACC Academic Team
